Becoming a Freemason
You will need to be Proposed and Seconded by existing Masons to join a lodge. The first step is to make contact so that we can find out about you and you can find out more about us. Tell us a little bit on the form below and you’ll be put in touch with members of a Lodge at a convenient centre to you. This then gives you a chance ask any questions, meet some of the members perhaps joining in with a few activities/ events to see that masonry is indeed for you.
Formal lodge Meetings are around 4-5 a year, each one tends to be followed by an enjoyable meal. In between these meetings several shorter and informal meetings are used to practice and learn more.
Lodges have several events for the benefit of local and national charities and there is a very active sports society and other interest groups. Most of which invite family and friends of masons and non-masons alike. Most lodges also have an annual “Ladies Festival” when we can get away with our partners for a weekend break that includes a formal gala dinner, some fun and laughter while again doing a bit for charity.
